As a Women’s Health Reflexologist, I’m passionate about helping you to optimise your health and wellbeing - whatever stage of life you’re at.

Reflexology provides stress relief for a wide range of common complaints, including Anxiety and Insomnia.

Sessions promote deep relaxation and will enable you to 'switch off' and leave the pressures of daily life behind.

My own challenges with Menopause inspired me to take further training and I’d love to help those of you navigating this transition!

Reflexology sessions are available during Pregnancy, or if you’ve encountered problems with your Fertility.

I offer a range of nurturing wellbeing treatments including Reflexology, Facial Reflexology, Zone Face Lift (natural skin enhancement), Hot Stone Reflexology and the fabulous combination of facial and foot reflexology, that I call ‘Top to Toe’.

Are you feeling overwhelmed right now?

Life can be challenging at times and you may be juggling the demands of a hectic work and home life.

Perhaps you have caring responsibilities - or are struggling with health issues of your own?

Anxiety and Insomnia are the most common reasons for clients to seek reflexology and both conditions respond well to the stress relief that treatments provide.

Why choose reflexology?

Reflexology is a gentle holistic therapy that encourages deep relaxation.

It can provide support for a wide range of health issues including:

  • Stress
  • Digestive disorders (including IBS)
  • Joint and muscular pain
  • Headaches and migraine
  • Anxiety
  • Insomnia
  • Hormone imbalance
  • Perimenopause/menopause

Treatments do not claim to cure, but work in a gentle way to activate your body’s own natural healing processes.

Specialised sessions are available for Pregnancy and Fertility.

  • "I had a really wonderful first time reflexology appointment with Clare. She spent plenty of time asking about my health first and then gave lots of useful advice. The treatment room is lovely, peaceful and comfortable and I very much enjoyed the reflexology. I felt so relaxed afterwards and felt some improvement in my back pain. I’ve already booked my next appointment!"

Taking care of yourself shouldn't be seen as an indulgence...

It’s thought that complete wellness occurs when physical, emotional and spiritual needs are balanced.

When your own health is good, you can continue to care for the important people in your life.

When mind and body are in harmony.

  • You will sleep well and should feel rested upon waking

  • Your digestive system will work efficiently and you shouldn’t suffer with constipation, diarrhoea or bloating

  • You will feel emotionally resilient (most of the time)!

  • So how are YOU feeling?

To take the first step towards improving your health and wellbeing, please get in touch here.

“ A truly relaxing experience and I would highly recommend Clare, not only for the treatments she provides but for her support and professional advice. I am very much looking forward to my next appointment.”

    Reflexology for Fertility

    Struggling to conceive?

When trying for a baby, it can take a healthy couple up to twelve months for conception to occur…

So if you’re feeling anxious because things haven’t happened for you yet, why not give reflexology a try?

Tests may have shown you that have unexplained infertility, or perhaps you have a cycle planned and would like IVF support?

Reflexology treatments are a great way to relieve any stress, which may negatively impact the entire reproductive process.

Over the past fifteen years I’ve been delighted to have seen many wonderful outcomes - both from natural and assisted conception.

    Reflexology may help to:

  • Relieve feelings of anxiety
  • Reduce stress hormones
  • Promote better sleep
  • Lift low mood
  • Support you throughout assisted conception (IVF, ICSI, FET)

    Maternity Reflexology

Does reflexology result in an easier labour?

In my twenty years as a Maternity Reflexologist, I feel privileged to have been able to support hundreds of expectant mums through pregnancy!

Pregnancy reflexology sessions are a nurturing experience for any mum-to-be and can be a wonderful way to connect with your little one.

    * Research has shown that reflexology in the later stages of pregnancy may lead to women requiring less pain relief and having faster birthing times

    * G. Motha and J. McGrath - 1992 "The effects of reflexology on labour outcome".

Regular reflexology treatments towards the end of your pregnancy, may result in you having an easier labour!

But there’s no need to wait, as treatments may help ease many common pregnancy discomforts, including Nausea/Morning Sickness, Constipation, Heartburn/Acid Reflex and Pelvic Girdle Pain.

Reflexology treatments during pregnancy may help to:

  • Ease common discomforts
  • Promote better sleep
  • Relax and prepare you, physically and emotionally, for labour
  • Relieve muscular tension (this may encourage the natural onset of labour post-term)

  • If you’d like to prepare for the best possible birth experience, please get in touch here.

    Balancing Hormones

As women, we’re governed by hormones, that fluctuate widely throughout our lives!

The action of hormones causes powerful physiological changes within the body.

Endometriosis and PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) are conditions caused by hormone imbalance and may mean that conception is more difficult to achieve.

Reflexology may help if you’re affected by these conditions and you can find out more here.

    Reflexology treatments may help to:

  • Encourage deep relaxation
  • Lift low mood
  • Ease muscular tension and help reduce pain
  • Calm cortisol production and naturally balance hormones

  • Feedback from clients attending for hormone imbalance has shown:

  • A reduction in pre-menstrual pain
  • Regulation of the menstrual cycle
  • A more condensed flow
  • Reduced bloating
  • Improved mood

Please get in touch here to book your first session.

    Perimenopause and Menopause

Struggling with anxiety, hot flushes or night sweats?

Menopause can be a time of great emotional upheaval, but it can be physically challenging too…

It’s difficult to survive on just a few hours sleep, when you’re trying to juggle work and family responsibilities.

You may be experiencing lots of menopausal symptoms, or just a few, including:

    • Irregular or missed periods
    • Scant or heavy flow
    • Hot flushes
    • Night sweats
    • Insomnia
    • Bloating
    • Loss of libido
    • Brain fog

    • Strange body odour
    • Vaginal dryness
    • Dry eyes/mouth/skin
    • Hair thinning and loss
    • Stress incontinence
    • Anxiety
    • Low mood
    • Lack of confidence

If you’re over the age of 40, declining hormone levels are usually to blame and symptoms are seen as a natural part of the ageing process.

But this doesn’t make it any easier and if your quality of life is seriously being affected, please seek help, as this is more widely available now.

Some calming reflexology may help to relieve any anxiety and help you cope better with this stage of life.

Simple lifestyle changes can also make a big difference to the way that you’re feeling and we’ll explore this during a pre-treatment consultation.

If your symptoms are particularly debilitating, I’d encourage you to visit your GP to discuss other treatment options that are available to you.

Reflexology works well alongside Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and can provide additional calming support.

    * Research has shown that reflexology can reduce vasomotor symptoms (hot flushes/night sweats) and improve the quality of life for menopausal women

    * (E. Gozuyesil, M. Baser, Complement Ther Clin Pract. 2016 Aug;24:78-85. doi: 10.1016/j.ctcp.2016.05.011. Epub 2016 May)

Reflexology treatments during menopause may help to:

  • Promote restful sleep
  • Encourage deep relaxation
  • Relieve anxiety
  • Reduce hot flushes and night sweats
  • Lift low mood
  • Enhance a feeling of wellbeing

  • If you’d like support during this transition, please get in touch here.
